Job Description:
- Server acceptance from the logistics team at data center loading bay;
- Server unbox, boxes & garbage handover to logistics team;
- Server mobilization from the loading bay to customer data center room;
- Server’s rail installation at rack;
- Server mounting to the dedicated rack location based on customer request;
- Server’s power cable installation, tidy up and labeling;
- Coordinating with team members in order to identify issues, resolve tickets and troubleshoot faulty servers;
- Replace faulty parts for servers, including hard drives, motherboards or memory card, etc.;
- Onsite to client data center with spare parts;
- Check server information (Location / SN / Warranty) to make sure info is correct;
- Perform firmware upgrade If it is necessary;
- Return failed parts to centralize place
Requirement:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Security or equivalent;
- Proficient in Mandarin and English (speaking and writing);
- Over 1 year IP or IT project delivery experience; outstanding fresh graduates are totally welcomed;
- Basic network knowledge, such as TCP/IP protocol stacks, basic routing and switching knowledge;
- Basic server knowledge and familiar with Linux CLI;
- Familiar with Huawei devices (or H3C devices) and experience on network design / technical implementation is preferred;
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or Huawei HCNA, HCNP, HCIE certification is preferred;
- PMP or ITIL certification is preferred;
- Able to travel domestic and overseas;
- Work effectively under pressure and work overtime may be required.
